Authorised asbestos removal in Hundested

Houses built before 1990 can contain asbestos-containing materials: asbestos fibre-cement sheets were produced until 1988 and laid until around 1990, tile adhesive and floor glue contained asbestos until around 1980, and asbestos pipe insulation sat on heating pipes until the ban in 1972. That applies to the older houses by the harbour and in Lynæs as well as the detached houses from before 1990, where the fibre-cement roof may be the original one. The year of construction is a hint, not an answer: only an asbestos test shows whether the material contains asbestos.
