Can an old merchant's house by Axeltorv contain asbestos?
Yes, even though the house itself is far older. Along Søndergade and Axeltorv stand two-storey half-timbered merchants' houses from the 1600s, but a newer roof, a bathroom or insulation on the heating pipes from before 1990 can contain asbestos. Have the materials tested before they come out.
