How does asbestos removal work?

  1. Your details and sampling

    You tell us about the job. If anything is unclear, or you ask us to, we come out and look at it free of charge. If you are unsure about the material, we arrange an asbestos sample and laboratory analysis, so we know what needs removing.

  5. Cleaning, clearance and disposal

    We clean the area, and after indoor work we only reopen it once it has passed a clearance check. The waste goes to an approved facility, and you get the documentation.

Can I remove asbestos myself in Sæby?

As a rule, no. Since 1 January 2025, taking down asbestos-containing material has required authorisation, in Sæby as everywhere else.
