The blocks of flats by Banegårdspladsen, on Trøjborg, by Stadion Allé and along Ringgaden and Marselis Boulevard date from between the wars, and the districts between Ringgaden and the town boundary came mostly after the war. Langenæs, Vorrevangen and Frydenlund were built in the late 1950s, and Gellerupparken followed around 1970.
