Can the old houses around the cathedral contain asbestos?
They can, in what was added later. The houses in Sct. Mogens Gade date from the 1600s and 1700s, long before asbestos was used in building materials. But an old house may have had a new roof, new ceilings or new heating pipes in the decades before 1990. Only an asbestos sample settles whether there is asbestos in your house.
